Oh my goodness Lisa, just amazing! I love the colorway you picked, the dress, but most of all that darling baby
Re: Completed projects
Your daughter is gorgeous! And the dress is so sweet with that picot edging! Love it!

Re: Completed projects
Thanks. I like her.
I always get like 1/4 of the way thru a picot edging, and then wonder why the heck I decided to do picot. I love the way it looks, just hate doing it.

Re: Completed projects
HA! I wished I could dye like that.
It is from Creatively Dyed. The colorway is called Leaf. I picked it up at the Wool Fest last year, but she has a website, and a page on Rav.

Re: Completed projects
Here is my finished product. I am not a photographer! I used MM Morwenstow on BFL Aran for the colorway and the trim was dyed to match by Meridith. I need a better photo that doesn't cut off the sides.

Re: Completed projects
Here's my finished project!
It could be a little longer, it comes to mid-thigh or so. I was starting to run out of yarn and got worried I wouldn't be able to finish. LOL I used probably 600-650 and it's a size 8.

Re: Completed projects
Lisa, are you sure your cw is called LEAF? I checked all voer on Rav, her site and Goiogle and nothing is coming up with that name..maybe it was OOAK since you got it at a festival? is it worsted? is it wool? Thanks!

Re: Completed projects
The tag is labeled as Woodbrook, I believe. It is superwash worsted. And yeah, it was called Leaf.
I had problems finding a different type of yarn I used last time of hers. I loved it, and wanted more, but couldn't find it anywhere. Maybe it was a festival special. If I see her again this year, I will ask. The Wool Fest is next month.

Re: Completed projects
Action shots:
Dd did not want to cooperate and didn't want to look at me, so the best I could do.
Measurements:
Total front length: 20" (waistband to bottom is 15")
sleeve length from armpit: 8" probably should have done another half inch, but I will block it a bit longer when needed

Re: Completed projects
She's a doll Lisa! Just a couple of questions from looking at the pics, do you think its too big in the neck area? Also, did you add the ties? And how did you feel about the sleeves, do you think they'd be better as more fitted sleeves or do you like them as is? You did a great job and I love the color!
Re: Completed projects

It is a little big in the neck, but I just attributed it to dd getting my more narrow shoulders. I didn't do the ties, but I may go back and do them later. I like the sleeves as is
