Re: Pattern All sizes Bodice only EDITED 8/3
oh I wanted to mention that for the w/b, I did seed stitch...but when I start the K1P1 ribbing after the BOR marker, there's 33 stitches, so it ends with a K1...then after the row marker when I start the seed stitch, I start with a K1 (and then P1), so there's two knit stitches in a row. Of course I know what to do on the next row to make sure that the front is seed stitch and the back is ribbing...but if someone were to just follow the pattern, I think it would end up being off?

Julie, I see your point, maybe I need to have them increase on the set up row so its even?

possibly? when you look at it, it certainly doesn't look odd when there's the two knit stitches in a row, as long as they know how to do seed stitch and 1x1 ribbing, kwim?

Re: Pattern All sizes Bodice only EDITED 8/3
OK, all sizes have been modified to have the KFAB increase.
Julie- I modified your size to end with 64 sts. on the front (and therefore 32 for each half of the back) you don't need to frog, but when you get to the hem you might need to increase to get the right stitch count, so just keep that in mind
Thanks everyone for the feedback! Keep it coming!

did I miss where to switch needle sizes? I saw that you need a size 7 and 8...I started with 7 (hope that was right!) but when do switch to the 8s?

Ok, did I screw up? (I was sleep deprived when I did the bodice.) The stitch pattern doesn't continue as far out on the right as the left.

Hmmm, I'm not sure Lisa, that was part of the problem with how it was written before, it shouldn't have that problem now that I've rewritten it. Sorry :hide:

Is anyone else doing the nb size? It is a pretty quick knit. I think I want to do the waistband in CW anyway. (again. sleep deprived.) I have no problems ripping it out and redoing it if no one else is doing this size.

I'm toying with the idea of doing a matching NB to my 2/3, but I'm not sure yet.

Hey Amy, I haven't started yet so I wanted to double check that your current batch of edits is finished before I get started I'm testing the 6-12m size

yes edits are done, and lisa the other nb tester is done w/the bodice as well, you don't have to frog but can ifyou want... or I can find another tester for that size, either way
Re: Pattern All sizes Bodice only EDITED 8/3
I finished the bodice and started the waistband on size 8 this afternoon. When I did the first round of the waistband, I did the k1, p1, then the half linen stitch on the front and then k1, p1 for the rest of the back. When I got to the end of the round the last stitch/first stitch are both knits.
ETA: Nevermind. Apparently I'm incapable of counting. Everything is lining up right now.

Amy....doing the 6-12 month size and on row 13..the end of that row says "k2, p2, k1". Those purls are part of the knit column....does that make sense??? Should it be k4, p1??
Maybe I completely screwed up...

Well. I suck. LOL I left today, forgot the printed revised pattern on the printer, got mad at myself, and just kept knitting. Maybe I will just make 2. (Cuz, you can't take a car ride without knitting.)

Mine looked like this on the 12/24m size as well. I frogged and was going to start again with the new edits. I'll post again once I get past that point.

Re: Pattern All sizes Bodice only EDITED 8/3
Also how are you guys feeling overall about the pattern so far, the waistband and such? Do you like it, any other changes you think need to be made? Any other stitches you think would look nice for the waistband?
Re: Pattern All sizes Bodice only EDITED 8/3
There was an error on rows 13 and 14 of the pattern in size 6-12 that is now fixed
Re: Pattern All sizes Bodice only EDITED 8/3
OK, I changed size 10 and added 2 rows to the bodice. If you've already knit it your st. counts will be off but just let me know what hem you want to do and I'll help you adjust it with what you have so you don't have to frog back.
Also I added hem instructions, and I'm going out of town tonight until Sunday so I won't be around to answer questions until then.
Thanks everyone!
